If you're looking for detailed and easy to find information on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) Summer Camps and related opportunities to show your passion for science this is THE place to be! I will be keeping you updated on important information such as what the camps are about, who they are for, deadlines, what to include on your application form and feedback from participants.

As a university student, I have been through the application process and attended several STEM Summer Camps myself. I was lucky to go to a college where we were advertised such opportunities, but there were still some left out! This website aims to allow all students from secondary school to university level, particularly those from disadvantaged backgrounds or less informed schools, access to this information.

This website is my hobby, so is being run in my spare time on a student budget. Therefore, I would love you to get involved - please send me any information on opportunities you know of that I have missed out and feedback on your experiences (with photos if possible, but make sure you get permission from all the people in the photo as well as the photographer). You can do this by using the 'Contact Us' box, twitter or facebook. Also, if you are interested in being a 'guest blogger' and write about your experiences on the blog section of this website I would love you to get involved - whether that be for a one-off post about something you have done or whether you want to join the team and blog regularly on the site.

Secondary School

To encourage bright and enthusiastic students to choose STEM subjects at A level and pursue a career in Science, Technology, Engineering or Maths a wide range of opportunities have been created, often by leading universities. These are not only a great thing to put on your sixth form and university applications, but also give you valuable advice and the chance to explore a wider range of subjects than you may have studied previously. Even if you are unsure about what subjects to study further, whether or not you wish to do A levels or what career you want to pursue I would still highly recommend applying as you may discover a new interest or alternative route into a career you are interested in.
